Her essays have been published in Random House and Smart Pop Books anthologies, the Telegraph Newspaper in the UK, and on notfortourists.com and cincity2000.com.  Several of her screenplays have become independent shorts and two of her plays have been produced in educational venues.

An editor, shooter, and producer Shaun Barrows has worked on shows for national and international networks including the National Geographic Channel, National Geographic Channel International, Nat Geo WILD, History, and TV One; has edited short form content for Slatev.com; and shot and edited promotional pieces for Meals on Wheels of America, the Mars Society, DC Public Schools, and the reality television pitch Flow Factory.  Shaun has also directed and edited two short films as well as a micro-documentary on the DC High Heel Race.
